Why Your Phone should have an Aegis Tempered Screen

Posted by Warren Riddock on

When it comes to the products we sell you can say we are a little obsessed with providing a combination of high quality and value for our customers. For this reason, we are excited to to introduce Aegis tempered screens!

We have searched high and low for a brand

Aegis tempered screens, provide new level of screen protection due to several manufacturing innovations:

  • Anti-Shatter Shock Absorption
  • Anti-Fingerprint
  • Finest Screen Clarity
  • Anti-Scratch
  • Bubble Free Application
  • Responsive Screen Touch

So what sets Aegis Screens apart from the competition?
1. AGC (Asahi Glass Co)

Aegis Asahi Glass is a global glass manufacturing company headquarted in Tokyo Japan.  One of AGC's trademarked glass products is Dragontrail, an alkali-aluminosilicate sheet glass engineered for a combination of thinness, lightness and damage-resistance, similar to Corning's Gorilla Glass.
There as been a lot of discussion whether Gorilla Glass is tougher than Dragontrail glass with the latter often coming out as the glass of choice. So when you purchase an Aegis tempered screen, you can rest assured your purchase is in the highest of strength and quality.
2. Full Screen Coverage
With my life immersed in cell phones, I often find myself peaking around at what type of phones people are using, the cases they have on, and whether or not they have a tempered screen. One of the biggest ripoffs I have seen when a tempered screen does not fully cover the entire screen.
The main reason for purchasing a tempered screen is for protection. What is the point of having a tempered screen that does not cover the areas most susceptible to shock or impacts? Do not settle for anything less than full screen coverage provided by Aegis products.
3. Presentation
Aegis tempered screens come in attractive packaging that screams you are getting your money's worth. Packaging includes installation instructions on the inside flap with a wet towel and microfiber sheet to prep your screen for application.
4. Protect Your Investment
The cell phone industry like many others is ever evolving. Today, the cost of ownership for a cell phone device has skyrocketed overall. This increase can mainly be attributed to many of the major cell phone providers no longer subsidizing the cost of the device.
So now, instead of getting a flagship phone such as a Samsung Galaxy or Apple iPhone for $200-$300, the latest generation of that device is costing $600-800 dollars. Let us take a look at a few examples from Verizon's website as of today.
Verizon Cell Phone Cost

Apple iPhone 6s $649.99
Samsung S7 Edge $792.00
Samsung Galaxy S7 $672.00
Apple iPhone 6s Plus $749.99
Now lets look at the cost associated with repairing your device with a cracked screen. Since exact repair quotes are not readily available I am going to show just the average cost of replacing the LCD based on prices listed on eBay.
LCD Cost by Phone
Apple iPhone 6s $125
Apple iPhone 6s Plus $166
Samsung S7 Edge $270.00
Samsung Galaxy S7 $160.00
As you can see, the cost of just the LCD itself is significant and does not even take into account any additional labor and markup you would occur taking your device to a repair shop.
In summary, don't be a big repair bill waiting to happen and make the meager expense of a tempered screen to protect the most expensive part of your device.
